Project / Our own website

A website you
can work with.

Our own website is a working example of the experience we wanted to create: expressive enough to remember, with a clear route from curiosity to a useful conversation.

The brief: character with a purpose

Pax Collective brings brand, website development and AI implementation into one consultancy. The website needed to explain those three areas without making visitors decide on a complete project before they could get in touch.

The visual direction grew around light, water and an optimistic view of technology. The practical requirement was simpler: let someone explore an idea, select what interests them and leave with an outline they can actually use.

Three directions, one brief

The homepage gives each service a distinct direction: a brand, a website or a smarter working day. Choosing a direction reveals a short explanation and a route to the detailed service page. Visitors can add more than one service to their brief.

The selected services carry into the enquiry panel, along with a suggested starting route. That makes the interaction part of planning the project, rather than an animation someone has to wait through.

  1. Open the studio and choose A website.
  2. Select Add digital to my brief.
  3. Open Review brief to see the selection carried into the enquiry.

Motion that can step aside

The water reacts to interaction, but the page also provides a pause control and respects reduced-motion preferences. A static image remains available when the enhanced renderer cannot run.

The same design has to make sense on a phone. The navigation, service choices and brief controls adapt to the available space. The purpose of the scene is to give the site its character; the business information and next step remain available alongside it.

Room for the questions behind an enquiry

The studio is the introduction. Separate service pages explain deliverables, project fit, process and scope. Planning guides help visitors prepare a website brief or evaluate a first automation workflow before contacting us.

These pages have ordinary links and readable HTML, so visitors can reach the information directly, bookmark it and share the relevant page with a colleague. The service pages also lead back to a brief with that service selected.

An explicit handover to email

The brief stays in the visitor’s browser. It can be viewed as text, downloaded or opened as an email draft. Opening the draft does not send it: the visitor reviews it and chooses whether to send it in their email application.

The site is published on the company’s own domain through its Cloudflare account. Its pages, content and graphics can be updated together without changing the public address.

This is Pax Collective’s own project. It demonstrates the live interface and the choices behind it; enquiries and business results will need to be assessed as the website is used.
